Colibri Real Estate is another school I like, but, in a similar vein, and they’ve got some good choices for people that are ready to move upwards in their career. In this case, it’s not actually Colibri Real Estate providing the continuing education classes for Texan students. Their partner, McKissock learning handles the teaching requirements for anyone interested in a Texas online real estate broker license.
You have a choice of two different types of packages with Colibri Real Estate, either their non-supervisor or supervisor Texas online real estate broker license packages. You can learn a lot from these packages, including the expected legal updates. But your Texas online real estate broker license will also teach you about other aspects of the property such as investment, changing demographics in real estate, such as the rise of the Millennial, and of course, the basics of broker work and management.

You may be in a position where you’re not sure just yet if you want to commit to getting a Texas online real estate broker license. However, you might want to know more about it. If that’s the case, I think looking at Mbition may be a good way to dip your toe into the pool. You’ll need to get a few years of experience as a real estate agent anyway, you can’t just pass directly from getting your agent license to immediately fast-tracking you to become a broker.
Mbition is a great school for people who are learning to become real estate agents, but they also have some supplementary materials for people looking beyond. They have continuing education courses that will let you do everything from getting your necessary TREC updates for your license renewal, but they also have preparatory courses for a future as a broker. One course even looks specifically at management in a broker office, so this is not a bad place to start if you’re considering a Texas online real estate broker license.

Kaplan Real Estate Education By Brightwood
The last school I want to recommend for a Texas online real estate broker license is Brightwood, which is transitioning from its old name, Kaplan Real Estate Education. They’re not the cheapest school, but they offer a lot of options to students. That includes the choice to actually go down to a physical building and attend a class if you prefer live interaction with instructors and other students. Of course, that means you need to live in an area with a school nearby.
However, for their Texas online real estate broker license, they do have home study options, on demand options, and the aforementioned classroom options, all of them running 180 hours total time. The cheapest home version is pure text, for people that prefer reading. The On Demand option actually offers recordings of live instruction, for people that prefer to process their information with a person doing the talking. Both options give you everything you need to get your Texas online real estate broker license.
