Let’s review each one.

Colibri Real Estate

Colibri Real Estate review featured image

Colibri Real Estate is probably the most popular online real estate school in the US.

On top of that, this school is accredited by ARELLO and IDECC. This means that the school meets real estate and distance education quality standards.

So you’re sure to get a quality education here.

What’s great about Colibri Real Estate is that they offer different packages for different individuals.

You can choose any of these packages:

  • The Basics package includes the required 30-hour Nebraska License Law Course, the Nebraska Principles and Practices Course, and the 6-hour Developing Professional Conduct and Ethics Course. It also comes with two real estate eBooks, as well as instructor support.

  • The Exam Preparation package comes with everything in the Basics package, plus an exam prep and pass or don’t pay guarantee.

  • The Exam Preparation Plus has additional features, such as a live exam crammer series, a real estate dictionary, and an instructor Q&A.

  • The Ultimate Learning package comes with additional printed course textbooks and professional development membership for a year.

You can pick a package that suits your needs and preferences.

What about the course?

Well, it isn’t the most interactive. But it is still easy to follow and understand. So you’re all good here.

Another well-known online real estate school is VanEd.

What makes VanEd stand out is that it offers a FREE 5-day trial. You can see what the coursework is like before you commit to it.

VanEd also offers packages.

You can pick from:

  • The Nebraska Real Estate License Course Package. This consists of a course orientation, Modules 1 and 2 of the Nebraska Real Estate Principles, the Developing Professional Conduct and Ethical Practices courses, the Nebraska License Law, and a national and state exam prep course.

  • The Nebraska Real Estate License + Post-License 7000. This package costs a bit more, but you also get more. This option comes with everything from the regular package, plus the required Post-License 7000 course to keep your real estate license active.

That’s not all.

Both packages come with a personal academic advisor, live customer and instructor support, digital flashcards, a real estate glossary, and a downloadable eBook for each course.

And, if you don’t want to spend on a whole package, you can select individual courses, too.

If not that, you can also go for LIVE courses.

With REEsults Coaching School of Real Estate, you can take your pre-licensing course in 9 sessions through Zoom.

Let’s answer some frequently asked questions about real estate in Lincoln, NE.

Online vs Classroom: Which is Better?

Taking your classes online is more flexible than taking them in person. You can create your schedule and study at your own pace.

Online real estate classes are usually less expensive, too. What’s more, you can save up on gas or commute as you don’t need to go anywhere.

Online education also lets you break the course materials into smaller sections. This will make it much easier than studying in one sitting.

On the other hand, in-person classes make you follow a schedule for your classes. This pushes you to take your lessons seriously and not be lazy about them.

You are also able to interact with other students and learn together. Plus, you can interact with your instructor straight away.

How long does it take to become a real estate agent in Nebraska?

Your pre-licensing education is probably the longest requirement. In Nebraska, you’ll have to complete 18 hours.

This isn’t as long as other state requirements. But still, it could take time.

Up next, you need to pass the Nebraska Real Estate Exam. This doesn’t necessarily take long, unless you fail it the first time, of course.

Another thing that might take time is your background check and fingerprinting. It can take around 4 weeks to process.

So if we put everything together, we’d say it’ll take a few months before you can become a real estate agent in Nebraska.

And there you have it!

You now know the best real estate schools in Lincoln, NE.

If you go online, you have a lot of great choices at your disposal. Not to mention, it will be very convenient and flexible for you.

But if you prefer a classroom, then the schools in Lincoln are a bit limited. The next best one is already located in Omaha.

Still, the decision is yours.

Are you going for an online real estate school?

Or are you leaning towards an in-person real estate school?

Whatever the case, you have the best options here.

Good luck!
