Broker real estate course

Continuing education real estate course
A continuing education (CE) course is a course you'll have to do repeatedly in order to renew your real estate license in Nevada. This course contains new updates to real estate law and trends that may have occurred, along with a few fundamental real estate topics.
What are the Qualifications for a Real Estate License in Nevada?
To be eligible for a license, you must:
- Be at least 18-years old
- Hold a high-school diploma or GED
- Be a US citizen or legal alien

The 4 Steps to Getting a Real Estate License Online in Nevada
Here are the steps required to obtain a Nevada real estate license:

Step 1: Take and pass a pre-licensing real estate course
All Nevada real estate applicants must study 120 hours of pre-licensing real estate courses in an approved real estate school.
Once you finish the 120 hours, you’ll need to pass the course exam to receive your Certificate of Completion (this is proof that you completed the required pre-licensing course).

Step 2: Submit your fingerprints for a background check
After that, you’ll have to go and give a copy of your fingerprints to one of the authorized scanning centers in Nevada. You may choose to submit these scans electronically.
If you choose to submit these prints at a center, you first need to pay a $40 fee. The center will then forward your details to the Nevada Real Estate Division.
You can also provide your fingerprint scans at some examination centers listed in the Pearson Handbook.
If you’re, say, out of the state, you can mail them directly. In which case, you’ll have to include a cashier’s cheque or money order of $40.25 made payable to the “Department of Public Safety”, along with your fingerprints, this form, and a fingerprint card.

Note: you may do this step before or after taking the Nevada real estate exam.
Step 3: Pass the Nevada real estate exam
Now, it’s time to take your Nevada real estate exam.
This exam is conducted by Pearson Vue. To apply, visit the Pearson website to create an account and schedule your exam.
You’ll be asked to fill in identification details such as your social security number, address, etc… You are then offered several different exam dates to choose from.
On the exam day, make sure to bring forms of identification, your Certificate of Completion, and a $100 examination fee.
As for the exam itself, there are two portions - state and national.
You will need to get at least 60 out of 80 questions right for the national portion and 30 out of 40 questions for the state portion.
you are given 4 hours (2hrs for national and 1hr for state) to answer all 140 questions.
What happens if you fail?
You can always retake it. However, you will need to reschedule and pay the exam fee again. (This is why it’s so important to get a good pre-licensing real estate course.)

Step 4: Submit a real estate license application to the NV Real Estate Division
After passing the exam, you’ll have to complete the real estate license application process.
To do that, fill out this form and provide all necessary identity and examination documentation, along with a $125 application fee.
After you’ve filled out the form, mail all required documents and fees to the following address:
