How Many Hours of Continuing Education is Required for License Renewal in Mississippi?
The Mississippi Real Estate Commission requires 16 hours of Continuing Education for license renewal, which takes place every two years.
This includes 8 mandatory hours in MS License Law (2 hours), Contract Law (2 hours), and Agency Law (4 hours), and 8 hours of elective CE courses. There is no limit to the number of CE Electives that you can take, but only 8 hours will be credited.
Can I Take Online CE Courses from Different Real Estate Schools to Fulfill my License Renewal Requirements?
You can take real estate CE courses from different schools. As long as their courses are state-approved, your completion record will be forwarded to the MREC and will be valid to fulfill your CE course requirements.
