A lot of people think that once you get a real estate license in Hawaii, you no longer need to do anything else. This is far from the truth.

Once you get a real estate license, your job is to make sure that you renew this license every Dec. 31 on every even-numbered year.

And what are the requirements for renewal?

Continuing education.

Like most states, Hawaii requires certain hours of continuing education every two years.

If you haven’t taken your continuing education courses yet, then you’re in luck. We’re going to give you the 5 best online real estate continuing education in Hawaii.

With this list, you’ll be able to pick out the school that fits your preferences.

So let’s get started.

5 Best Online Real Estate Schools For Continuing Education in Hawaii

Here is a list of the best online real estate continuing education in Hawaii:

  1. McKissock
  2. The CE Shop
  3. Abe Lee Seminars
  4. Remi School of Real Estate Digital Learning Center
  5. Carol Ball School of Real Estate

Let’s see what each school offers.

1. McKissock

Online Real Estate in Hawaii - Continuing Education McKissock

McKissock is by far the best provider for continuing education in Hawaii.

They provide 100% online courses, access to different learning materials and exercises, and an accessible customer service

No wonder they got a rating of 4.5/5 stars from their students.

What makes McKissock the ideal school is its user-friendly website and course.

Their site has all the information you need to get started with the required CE courses. They also have a wide range of elective courses to choose from.

When it comes to the content, McKissock definitely knows how to balance engagement and knowledge. Each course you’ll take will be guided by a licensed real estate professional coupled with quizzes, questions, and animated videos.

If you’re planning to take several courses with McKissock, I suggest that you consider taking their McKissock CE Plus Membership. Aside from access to all CE courses allowed in your state, you get a coaching tool, 100+ job aids, and the Sherri Johnson 90-Day Boot Camp.

What more can you ask for?

2. The CE Shop

Online Real Estate in Hawaii - Continuing Education The CE Shop

The CE Shop is a one-stop-shop for anything real estate. They have approved courses all over the country and their course content is very state-based.

The fact that The CE Shop is like a grocery for courses makes it convenient for a lot of people to go to.

Most of their continuing education students were previously enrolled in their pre-licensing courses in their respective states.

But even if The CE Shop is able to build a loyal customer base, there are several reviews that focus on the lack of good customer service and relatively boring content. This is more obvious in their CE courses than their pre-licensing courses.

Their continuing education courses are not that boring, though. They’re just not very engaging and direct to the point as you want them to be. The courses are full of readings and audio, but there’s not a lot of engaging video content.

Moreover, The CE Shop is slightly more expensive than its competitors. Their CE packages are a little over $200. However, this doesn’t mean that they’re overpriced.

What this online real estate school does well is their user interface.

Once you create an account, it’s easy to track which courses you’ve already taken on your dashboard. There are also free career resources you can get, depending on the package you purchase.

3. Abe Lee Seminars

Abe Lee Seminars

Abe Lee Seminars specializes in live webinars and in-person instruction. If you prefer attending webinars or having an instructor explain the course material, this is a good option to take.

For the webinars, there are two video packages that already include the 6-hour core course that you are required to take.

Some of these video and in-person classes are taught by Abe Lee himself. A lot of his past students left positive reviews describing all the lessons as engaging and easy to understand.

Of all the types of classes they offer, we recommend trying their video ones, which they are most popular for.

If you’re interested and want to inquire about the classes, it’s best to send them an email or contact their office directly.

4. Remi School of Real Estate Digital Learning Centers

Online Real Estate in Hawaii - Continuing Education Remi School of Real Estate

The Remi School may not be the most popular continuing education course provider, but it is worth considering if you’re looking for value-for-money courses.

Yep, this online real estate school is known for having very affordable courses and packages that real estate agents will love.

And what’s great about it is that they give really good service for the price.

I guess you can attribute that to 40 years of service in the real estate industry.

Moreover, the Remi School is flexible in terms of designing your course. You have a say on what courses to take and what package to get. And depending on what you choose, the total fee will vary.

But even if you build your own package, they are still pretty affordable. And if you’re lucky, you might just get a limited time discount!

5. Carol Ball School of Real Estate

Online Real Estate in Hawaii - Continuing Education ContinutingEd Express

Just like the Remi School, Carol Ball School of Real Estate allows you to build your own continuing education package.

Yep, it’s like an online store of courses. It’s so easy to just pick and choose what course you’re interested in.

But unlike the Remi School, the Carol Ball School of Real Estate doesn’t have a CE course of its own. Instead, it partnered with ContinuingEdExpress.com to provide online CE courses for its students.

However, the courses provided by ContinuingEdExpress.com do not have videos and audio.

Expect pure text. So if you’re not a fan of reading PDFs and documents, then this might not be the course for you.

Nonetheless, you can start and stop anytime you want and you can access the course from any device.
