Been searching online for the best online real estate schools in Arkansas? Feel overwhelmed with the many options? Want more info?

Then you’ve come to the right place!

Being a realtor in Arkansas requires a license. To get a license, you need to complete a test. This test has its own requirements, mainly being an Arkansas approved 60-hour real estate education course.

I know what you’re thinking, “A test?! What? Am I back in high school?”

But don’t worry, I’ve compiled a list of the best online real estate schools in Arkansas. These courses are a breeze. And the best part? They’re totally online!

So, even if you’ve got the busiest of schedules, these courses have got you covered.

Let’s get into it.

Best Online Real Estate Schools in Arkansas

The top 5 online real estate schools in Arkansas are:

  1. Colibri Real Estate
  2. The CE Shop
  3. Kaplan Real Estate Education
  4. Lindsey School of Real Estate
  5. National School of Real Estate

Colibri Real Estate is another great option that is pretty close to my top pick.

Their online courses are divided into easily digestible chapters that are straightforward and ensure you don’t forget to study any crucial info.

The course is also much easier than traditional in-person learning, as fun mini-games and frequent small quizzes keep you engaged and prevent distractions.

They also provide a whole host of packages that give you all the resources you need if you’re totally new to real estate.

What I like best about this course are the direct Q&A sessions as they provide answers to all those lingering questions you just can't find online.

These sessions give you answers straight from the pros, in a way that is so easy to follow, your aunt Sally would get it!

The only reason why this is second place is that they don’t offer post-licensing in Arkansas.

This is kind of a bummer considering you do need to take an 18-hour course, 6 months after you get your license in the state.

But as far as the pre-licensing course goes, this is really a good contender for the first spot on this list.

Here is an inside look at Colibri Real Estate:

Top 5 Best Online Real Estate Schools in Arkansas The CE Shop

The CE Shop has created online learning courses, much like the first two options, that are focused on creating a fun user experience.

While they do divide chapters into lessons that are engaging and fun for the reader, they lack tools like Mbittion’s MathMaster, which really helps in memorizing formulas.

However, The CE Shop does boast a 91% pass rate and a 4.7-star rating based on over 6000 reviews. This confirms their courses' success.

They also give a free trial if you want to have a look at what they’re offering, which is perfect if you’re on the fence.

Top 5 Best Online Real Estate Schools in Arkansas Kaplan Real Estate Education

Kaplan offers a different online solution than the other courses on this list.

The course is based on video lectures that are taught by experienced real estate agents. This gives you insider and practical information that help you get an edge in the final test.

Their site is a little dated and can be slow at times but the in-depth video lectures are a better pick if you like a teacher teaching you.

However, since it is a video lecture series, it would be difficult to run this if you have a spotty internet connection. That’s something to keep in mind if you’re looking into this course.

Top 5 Best Online Real Estate Schools in Arkansas Lindsey School of Real Estate

To round up this list I found Lindsey School of Real Estate. This school gives you the option of online courses and in-person classroom learning if that’s your thing.

They create good content that’s designed to be in line with the final test. However, for most of the course you will only be reading text, so don’t expect an interactive experience here.

If you're the type that does well with a written course that details everything you need to know, then this could be a good option.

But if you want a more enjoyable, and quicker experience, then the other schools on this list may be better options.

National school of real estate logo

The National School of Real Estate offers live stream courses, flexible in-person classes, access to experts, and assistance in filing paperwork.

Courses available are for pre-licensing, broker licensing, post-licensing, continuing education, and exam prep.

The downside is they do not offer online self-paced courses. If you’re looking for a more flexible learning experience, you can check out their partner school, the CE Shop.

If you’re the type of student who needs real-time interaction with instructors, we highly recommend the National School of Real Estate. Their live stream course encourages student engagement and participation to absorb lessons better.

Another advantage is students get hands-on experience through learning materials and tools that are included in the course. This will give students a higher chance to pass the licensure exam and meet the requirements for their licensing renewals.

Additionally, if you’re going to join the in-person class, you will get free coffee. Not a deal breaker of course, but it is pretty cool.

The best part though, is that NSRE also assists their students in filing all required paperwork and fingerprinting. This added benefit and convenience boosted its popularity and ranking in Arkansas.

Overall, the National School of Real Estate is an excellent option if you’re looking for affordable, flexible class schedules, and real-time instructor support. Moreover, students mentioned that their instructors are enthusiastic and supportive.

What are the Requirements for Online Real Estate School in Arkansas?

Online real estate schools don’t have many requirements apart from you being able to pay the fee.

Some online real estate schools may require you to be 18 or above to enroll. However, even if the school hasn’t clearly made such a demand, you shouldn’t enroll if you’re under 18 due to the license requirement.

Is It Better to Take Real Estate Classes Online or In-Person?

Well, that depends on you really.

If you have a busy schedule and are working while you study for the license, then online courses provide you with greater flexibility.

However, if you want that person-to-person contact, and are more comfortable learning in a classroom, then you may want to consider in-person classes.

However, this often is a single long lecture with loads of info that can be difficult to absorb.

How Much Does Online Real Estate School in Arkansas Cost?

It depends on the school, but generally, the cost can range from $300 to highs of $600. Most online schools do run promotions though, which could see you get a package in the $200-$300 range.

How Long Does Online Real Estate School in Arkansas Take?

Online schools are great in that they give you flexibility. So, the time it takes you to complete the course is really up to you. Some people can finish it in 2 weeks, whereas others can take as long as 5 months.

It's all about how you schedule your study sessions and your ability to learn.

Conclusion

In a nutshell, to be able to apply for a license, you need to complete 60 hours of the Arkansas Real Estate Commission-approved pre-licensing course.

To complete the 60 hours, many certified schools exist, both in-person and online.

Often, people aren’t able to distinguish between the good and the bad options and don’t know whether to go online or study in-person.

With these recommendations listed here, you can rest easy knowing that you’ll find the school that is the perfect fit for you!
