As you can see, both 360 Training and VanEd are very similar. But let’s get to the details to spot the differences.

Availability

When it comes to availability, both 360 Training and VanEd offer pre-licensing courses in 14 states, which isn’t as extensive as other schools out there.

However, both tick off populous states that most realtors work in, so you’re likely to find yourself covered with one of these schools.

360 Training offers greater availability with its Continuing Education (CE) courses, offered in over 30 states. So you’re covered even more if you need to renew your real estate license.

It also offers post-licensing in 5 states and exam prep in all 50 states plus Washington DC.

VanEd offers a lot less than that, with its CE courses offered in 9 states, post-licensing in 6 states, and exam prep in 6 states.

Course Options

We already touched a bit on the course options above.

And as you can see, 360 Training and VanEd have everything you need for your real estate career.

If you’re just starting out, there are pre-licensing courses.

If you need to ace the licensing exam, both offer exam prep programs.

If your state requires post-licensing for first-time renewal, then there are courses for that, too.

If you need to renew your real estate license, then check out their available CE courses.

But what separates the two are their other course options.

360 Training has courses for other industries, such as food & beverages, environmental safety, healthcare, and more.

VanEd, on the other hand, focuses solely on real estate, with its other courses on GRI (Graduate REALTOR Institute) and appraisal.

User Experience

360 Training is well-versed in the online space, having previously offered online training in multiple industries before going into real estate.

360 Training vs VanEd

The school has taken that collective experience to perfect its online real estate platform, creating an excellent UI that won’t be troubling you much.

You can easily navigate the platform and lessons, as well as experience very few bugs and glitches.

And if you do run into a problem, don’t fret. 360 Training has great customer support that is willing to help you out.

What about the lessons? You’ll be happy to know that it is engaging. You won’t be bored to death going through them.

As for VanEd, this school takes a simpler approach — it makes everything super easy for you.

360 Training vs VanEd

You won’t have trouble following the lessons. Plus, the layout is very organized, so you won’t be confused either.

Yes, you will hardly face glitches and/or bugs, too. If you do, simply refresh the page.

Features

With both schools, you get to choose between packages, with each one varying in feature and price.

360 Training usually offers two tiers  — a Basic and a Premium package.

The Basic plan includes all the fundamentals, such as the required course material, a FREE real estate math practice, and a Certificate of Completion in the end.

While very simple, the lower price makes it an option for budget-conscious students looking for a cheaper plan.

The Premium offering adds more, giving you additional exam prep and online proctoring for the final exam (if required in your state)

VanEd offers tiers that vary based on the state you’re in. Usually, different states have either 2 or 3 packages to choose from.

The Standard Package is the most basic offering. It comes with the required course materials, a downloadable ebook, and an exam prep.

Its Convenience package takes it up a notch, with the ability to add in online proctoring.

As for the Premium package, it includes CE/post-licensing courses. This is only available to a few select states.

But probably the best feature of VanEd is its payment plan options. That’s right, you can pay through installment — even for its cheapest plan.

Reviews

It’s always a good idea to check out reviews from previous students. And that is what we’re going to do now.

360 Training earned a 4.1 out of 5 stars based on over 6,000 reviews in Trustpilot. That’s a pretty impressive rating.

Here’s what one student had to say about 360 Training:

‘‘Everything is informative without being overwhelming. I felt like I could keep up with the content and was able to process the information without difficulty. They could stand to shorten up some of the modules with respect to the massive amounts of printed content. You’ll enjoy this medium for getting your necessary continuing ed in real estate in my opinion.’’

As for VanEd, it has 4.3 out of 5 stars based on 30 reviews on Indeed.

Here’s one review for VanEd:

‘‘VanEd has online courses that are affordable and easy to use. Overall, great online courses and support.Would love some more interactivity within the courses. I definitely recommend using VanEd. They helped me get my license and pass the exam quickly and effectively without having to spend a ton of money on the coursework.’’

Alternative

If you’re not satisfied with both online real estate schools, you might want to look into other options.

If so, we highly recommend Colibri Real Estate (formerly known as Real Estate Express).

With one of the most extensive arrays of pre-licensing courses, supported in over 38 states, Colibri Real Estate consistently ranks at the top.

Its wide range of features, such as a real estate dictionary, live webinars, Livestream classes, and more means it has created a course to help you in every aspect.

And with affordable pricing and value-for-money packages, it’s a top contender if you’re looking for more.
