Now it’s time to dive deep into Mbition and OnlineEd.

First things first — you need to figure out if the online real estate school offers courses designed specifically for your state.

Remember, each state has different requirements when it comes to real estate training, so it’s important to check the course availability.

Mbition offers its pre-licensing courses to almost all states, as listed below:

District of Columbia
New Mexico
New York
North Carolina
North Dakota
South Carolina
West Virginia

However, the availability of the other course options may differ, so it’s best to check Mbition’s website if you’re interested in something other than getting your real estate license.

Meanwhile, OnlineEd is a bit limited in its pre-licensing availability — it only offers the course to 15 states, as listed below:

South Carolina

Its continuing education (CE) courses are even more limited, offered to only 8 states. Check here to see the available states for CE.

Course Options

What real estate education do you need?

Are you fulfilling your real estate license requirements? Then you need pre-licensing courses.

Are you renewing your real estate license? Then you need either post-licensing or continuing education courses.

Mbition is known as your one-stop-shop for all things real estate education. It offers the 5 main real estate course options:

    • Pre-licensing – makes you eligible to take the licensing exam

    • Post-licensing – some states require post-licensing for first-time license renewal

    • Continuing education – allows you to renew your real estate license

    • License upgrade – allows you to upgrade from an agent’s license to a broker license

    • Exam prep – helps you ace the licensing exam on your first try

Of the 5 main course options, OnlineEd only offers 2 — pre-licensing and continuing education.

However, it has unique course options, too.

Here, you can study principal broker licensing, property management licensing, and lots of professional development courses.

You can also study mortgage, insurance, contracting, appraisal, home inspection, and a lot more with OnlineEd.

User Experience

An excellent UX is everything, especially when it comes to online learning.

Thankfully, both Mbition and OnlineEd make sure students have the easiest and best time.

Mbition’s courses are completely online and self-paced, so you can stop and continue your progress at any time.

Mbition vs. OnlineEd

It is also supported on Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS. This way, you can access it on both PC and mobile devices.

Finally, it offers easy navigation, digital books, flashcards, study schedules, and other resources to help you learn.

Similarly to that, OnlineEd’s courses are 100% online and compatible with both PC and mobile gadgets, too.

Your studies also automatically save as you progress. You won’t need to find where you stopped if you transfer from one device to another.

And when it comes to learning, OnlineEd offers videos, audio, PDFs, flashcards, e-books, and practice tests to help you gain and retain knowledge.

What about features?

Well, Mbition has 4 different packages you can choose from.

The first is the Course Only package, which offers exactly what it sounds like.

The second is the Standard Package, which adds an Exam Prep Edge for both national and state information.

The Value Package adds on Building Business Courses.

And the Premium Package includes the Salesperson Post-License Course and e-Textbook.

But regardless of which package you choose, all come with the following:

    • Digital flashcards

    • Business e-books

    • Study schedule

    • Real estate glossary

    • Career and downloadable resources

What’s more, Mbition offers a 30-day money-back guarantee and customer support over the phone, email, and online chat.

However, all courses must be finished within 6 months. If you need to extend, you will have to pay an extra fee.

Moving on to OnlineEd.

Usually, there are 2 to 3 packages available (depending on the state).

OnlineEd’s Bronze Package comes with the necessary coursework, a FREE demo, PDF and EPUB ebooks, and a printable certificate of completion.

The Silver Package includes exam prep, instructor support, and learning assessments.

As for the Gold Package, you get all of that PLUS physical textbooks that you can keep. So if you’re not comfortable studying through a screen, this is a great feature.

Plus, since you get to keep the textbook, you can always go back to it should you need information.

One unique feature of OnlineEd is that you can access the course for a full year. And also, thanks to its printable certificate, you no longer have to wait for it to arrive through the mail.

Finally, OnlineEd offers customer support through phone and an online form.

On a budget?

Then you might be looking for the most affordable between the two schools.

Well, to compare, let’s look at the package prices for both schools’ California pre-licensing.

Mbition OnlineEd
Course Only – $129
Standard Package – $199
Value Package – $249
Premium Package – $445
Bronze Package – $99
Silver Package – $204
Gold Package – $264

Prices as of Dec. 2022

From the table above, we can see that OnlineEd is the cheaper option. For just $99, you already get everything you need.

But overall, both Mbition and OnlineEd are some of the most affordable online real estate schools out there. You won’t need to splash out the cash, unlike in other real estate schools.

Looking through reviews from previous students is always a great idea.

So let’s do that now.

Here are some reviews about Mbition:

“I love the module breakdown for each subject. There’s so much information to take in and retain, I feel they did a fantastic job isolating important terms along with key review questions. During section review mastery quiz, the questions only repeat if you answer them incorrectly the first time through, and will only repeat the wrong ones.. Which in my opinion is a sure fire way to make a Q/A stick with you! I’m 30 days in and 28% in. The key is to complete 2-3 modules a day to get through all of them. I’m not sure how anyone was able to sit and retain this info in a sit down class with notes??!!! Fuggettaboutit! Thumbs up and good luck to all those after the real estate journey and this helps!! Yes, to mbition! Yoshi

Creative print layouts for flash cards, otherwise, I think you nailed it! Perhaps extending the amount of time it takes to complete all 179 modules. Allowing for more flexibility for those who need more time.”

The price was fair but thats about the only good thing about it. the info is good and informative but over repetitive

The course was way too long. You have to answer every single question twice and the course is so long. I have put in about 25 hours so far which should mean I am about 28% done but I am only about 10%. I am buying a different course because this course sucks so bad and I am very busy and don’t have time to do 180 hours to get a 90 hour broker course certificates”

And here are reviews about OnlineEd:

“I highly recommend Onlineed for pre licensing courses. The course material was easy to understand and very thorough. It covered everything that was on the test in great detail. And it was so convenient. I could take the courses from anywhere. I passed the exam on the first try. I felt like I was extremely well prepared and that gave me the confidence that I needed.”

“While there was a good amount of material it was not laid out very well and there was no instructor interaction. It made it difficult for those of us who do better in a communication based education system.”

Mbition vs OnlineEd – The Verdict

Which online real estate school is better?

Well, when it comes to availability and features, Mbition comes out on top.

But if you’re looking for the most affordable package, plus excellent user experience, then OnlineEd might be more up your lane.

The choice is yours.

And now that you know what each school offers, you can make a well-informed decision.

Good luck!
