About Rethink CRM

Rethink CRM was created back in 2009 by Vijay Mehra. 

Mehra was then working for Salesforce when he realized the potential of having another software that would merge Salesforce and commercial real estate (CRE). 

Salesforce is one of the most popular enterprise CRMs that offer several operational features such as customer service, analytics, and app development. And since Mehra was a former CRE investment guru, he saw the need for CREs to have a CRM fit for their needs. 

This is the humble beginning of Rethink CRM. 

Fast forward to today, Rethink CRM continues to be highly integrated with Salesforce and its apps. 

It also continues to serve CRE markets through analytics and marketing tools that will help identify and nurture gaps in your deal-making. 

Rethink CRM Features

Let’s take a look at Rethink CRM’s primary features that are meant to help CRE agents reach their sales goals. 

Activity Reports

Rethink CRM’s Activity Reports are by far one of its most popular features.

Activity Reports refer to the visibility of the actions you’ve taken to secure a sale or connect with your leads. 

This is a feature that works well especially if you have a team where each person handles a specific set of contacts. 

It’s an easy way to see your team members’ progress while also getting updated on how each transaction is going. 

If you’re a solo CRE agent, don’t worry. As we said, the Activity Reports will help remind you of the history of transactions and communications that transpired between you and your contacts. 

You don’t need to manually jot everything down. Or worse, remember everything yourself. 

Website Builder

Property Sites, Rethink CRM’s relatively new website builder is a great way for you to create your website without having to leave the platform. 

Because this can be integrated, you won’t have trouble syncing the leads you get from the site onto the CRM. The syncing happens automatically! 

However, this site builder is not made to build robust and complex sites. Rather, it can do just the basics – add photos and videos, create a map, and add property descriptions. 

If you have sites that you want to market, this is where you can showcase them for your contacts to see. 

Project Management

Another feature that’s ideal for teams is the project management tool. 

This project management tool is a simple tracker of action plans and deliverables by each of your team members. This is useful if you have ongoing plans within your time. 

Most CRMs don’t have this feature so this is a big plus for Rethink CRM. This further shows how this CRM was made with agencies and brokerages in mind. 

And even if you don’t have a team, you can still use this feature as part of the solo plan. 

Rethink CRM Pricing

There are only two plans that Rethink offers – a solo and an enterprise plan. 

The solo plan is priced at $50 per month, while the enterprise plan is at $75 per month per user.

The solo plan includes the basic CRM features including the website builder.

On the other hand, the enterprise plans include app integrations with Salesforce apps. 

Rethink CRM Pros

  • Has an analytics tool that helps identify problems in the sales funnel
  • A lot of customization and automation features are available

Taking a look at the advantages of Rethink CRM, it seems that the software is geared towards one thing – to make our lives easier. 

Their website builder wasn’t available until 2019. This additional feature shows that Rethink CRM ensures that everything you need to set up successful deals is here. Also, that they are constantly improving their software. 

Apart from that, the analytics tool and the recommendations that come with it make it easy for any individual or team to work on improving their sales pipeline. 

Then there are also the many customizable features and automation you can do. 

Compared to other CRM software that only has automated messages for your contacts, Rethink CRM has automatic notifications and automatic logging of calls and emails. 

This way, you end up having a complete profile of all your communications with each person on your contact list. 

Rethink CRM Cons

  • No free trial
  • Integrations with Salesforce apps are not available for solo plans
  • Updates done with Salesforce affects the Rethink CRM platform 

While it’s common for CRMs to have a free trial for 1-2 weeks, Rethink CRM doesn’t offer the same. Instead, you can only schedule a demo and decide on getting a plan. 

And since there aren’t a lot of reviews on Rethink CRM, the lack of a free trial can make other CRE agents hesitate with committing to a monthly fee right off the bat. 

To add to that, the coveted feature of Salesforce app integrations is only available for the enterprise plan. 

So it’s not going to be useful if you’re a one-man team.  

Lastly, there are a few bugs and issues whenever Salesforce updates. While these bugs are minor, they can still add to the inconvenience. 

Final Thoughts

In summary, Rethink CRM seems to be better suited for CRE teams who plan on maximizing the integration of the software with Salesforce. 

But if you feel that even at the solo plan, Rethink CRM offers all the features you want and need, then it’s definitely a good option to try it out. 

At the end of the day, it is a CRM that works and helps you manage contacts.
